Visualized: Homelessness in America

In 2023, homelessness in America has reach record levels. We took a look at where the majority of the homelessness occurs.

Below we have each state broken down by party and thier respective homeless rates by governor. Red is Republican states, Blue is Democrat states. The states with the highest homeless rate were California, Vermont, Oregon, Hawaii, and New York. States with the lowest homeless rates were Mississippi, South Carolina, Illinois, Alabama, and Iowa.

We also broke out which Party has the most homeless in the U.S. Democrat states lead here with nearly quadruple the number of homeless as Republican states.
