Visualized: Federal Oil Drilling Permitting

We looked at the trends in oil permitting from data available on on the BLS website. We found that there has been an increase in received permits but both approved permits and processed permits have declined dramatically. We can only go back to April of 21 as previous data is not available on the BLS website.
